Meet Linda

For thirty years my learning and career choices have been guided by a clear intention to cultivate our potential as human beings to learn, work, and live well, together. 

I’m fueled by being of service in empowering others to grow and act in alignment with the aspirations they hold for their leadership – and their lives. We’re whole people, not parts. 

A committed partner. My clients are not empty vessels that require filling up. They are human beings and organizational systems with boundless strengths and innate potential to lead. And it’s because we’re human that we can get in our own way. I partner with people to explore what accelerates or puts the brakes on their own capability to create the future they want to move into for themselves, their teams, organizations – their full spectrum of stakeholders – and co-create how they can make their aspirations a reality. 

Seasoned. My experience crosses multiple sectors, including public and private education, business, government, and community. 

I’ve been a leader myself; worked on national and state-wide systems change projects; served as a thought partner, consultant, and coach to organizational leaders and teams; successfully mediated business, community, and individual disputes; and, designed and implemented professional development experiences for groups ranging from 10 to 800 participants.  In 2016, I co-authored A Positive Manifesto – How Appreciative Schools Can Transform Public Education (Burrello, Beitz, and Mann), focused on how educational leaders can intentionally set the stage for school communities where people and results both thrive. 

Relentlessly curious. I bring an appetite for discovery and an accompanying openness of heart and mind to all my client relationships – along with honesty, warmth, humor, optimism, and love.

I currently reside in Chicago, Illinois USA, am the proud mother of two young adults, a passionate world traveler and culture enthusiast, volunteer, and an avid road cyclist. I hold US and UK passports and speak some (very) rudimentary Arabic.
